We need bold new leadership for the challenges ahead but our failing voting system favours the status quo.

The Conservatives are predicted to win again in Melksham & Devizes on little over a third of the vote because the opposition vote is split.
‍
 Michelle Donelan may get elected on less than 35% of the vote.  So we need a new approach.

The Melksham & Devizes Primary will help us choose a single, viable opposition candidate for the next general election.

The Conservative party is a big tent, spanning a huge range of views from the likes of Ken Clarke to Kwasi Kwarteng and Liz Truss who helped crash our economy. But the opposition is fragmented, giving this irresponsible government absolute power on a minority vote.
